Here We Have a Winchester Model 1903 Semi Auto Rifle Chambered in .22 Automatic, It was the first commercially available semi-automatic firearm made by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. It features a crescent butt plate with tube feed, front blade Beaded sight. Overall Appears in Good Condition, The Flaw is there is a Chunk of Buttstock Absent, Serial # 45191 Dates to 1908. The Winchester Model 1903 was designed by T.C. Johnson, who had joined Winchester in 1885 and had become nationally known as an inventor of successful rifles. It was first chambered for the .22 Winchester Automatic cartridge.
