Up Next We Have a Savage Model 1899 .250-3000 Takedown Lever Rifle, Serial #210162 This One Dates to 1919. Manufactured from 1914 to 1921 in the 145500 to 237500 serial number range, these Model 1899 rifles were developed to introduce the Charles Newton designed .250-3000 Savage cartridge. Fitted with a 22″ featherweight takedown barrel, unique checkered trigger, and checkered pistol grip stock. Pinned beaded blade front and Rear Tang Peep Sight, with the two line address/patent date marking, and two line hi-pressure steel/model marking and “250-3000 SAVAGE” on the left barrel side. Cocking indicator, Fancy checkering on the Schnabel forearm, buttstock featuring a hard rubber grip cap and serrated steel buttplate stamped with the Savage Indian logo. Overall Appears In Excellent Condition
