Gun Collectors Dream Auction 63 Day One
Lot 128:
Lot contains an Italian Steel M33/47 Helmet, upon research of the helmet ; The first Model 933 helmets were manufactured by the company SMV (Smalteria e Metallurgia Veneta Spa) of Bassano del Grappa, helmets with marking B followed by the number lot in the rear. This helmet had three large hollow rivets, serving to hold the revolutionary new liner design at the time. This helmet shows the number on the back side with a B and what appears as number but there is a rust spot that makes hard to confirm the lot number there you can see the B, plus the leather liner has stamped holes that might show "57" Helmet is worn but you can lightly see markings super cool so get your bid on and have fun researching. again, you review pictures closely as we are not War helmet experts only looking for every possible marking to assist you in your determination. good luck and happy bidding
