Canadian WW2 Brodie Helmet (ARP Police) – Canadian WW2 Brodie Helmet (ARP Police) Very nice Canadian WW2 so-called ?Brodie? helmet Maker marked ?GSW = General Steel Wares of Toronto? and comes with its original liner and first model helmet strap. The helmet had 98% of its original camo paint. And is marked ?A.R.P. Police? Which is ?Air Raid Patrol Police? There is a Hole in the R of the ARP that goes through the Liner (This fella may have had a bad headache that day), Below the G.S.W Imprint shows D P & H this helmet was made for home service of a softer grade of steel. It was intended for Air Raid precaution personnel etc. The DP & H stands for Department of Pension and Health.
