Lot contains a super cool Signed Japanese WWII Steel Tanto w/wood Sheath; from our research appears to be a Japan Pre World War II, a fine utility knife known as a tanto with a forged steel, single edged blade fitted inside a wooden hilt, beneath the handle is a slender brass blade cap that covers the top of the blades Tang, helps create a snug fit inside of the hand carved wooden sheath. please refer to pictures and make your determination and let us know if you have further questions.
