The Sig Sauer P320-M18, chambered in 9mm and presented in a distinctive Coyote Tan finish, is the commercial variant of the U.S. Military M18. This handgun has garnered significant civilian interest since the official adoption of the M17 and M18 by the U.S. Army for the Modular Handgun System (MHS).
The P320-M18, a 9mm striker-fired pistol, carries an exclusive “M18-XXXXXX” serial number and includes one 17-round magazine along with two 21-round magazines. Noteworthy features include a SIGLITE front night sight, a removable night sight rear plate in adherence to the MHS contract specifications, and an optic-ready slide. With the rear sight assembly removed, the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMEO1Pro Optic can be mounted directly to the slide.
Configured closely to the U.S. Military’s models, the P320-M18 boasts black controls, a coyote-tan grip module in a carry-length design, a coyote PVD finished slide, and an ambidextrous manual safety. For those in states with specific regulations, there is also a state-compliant version available, and it is currently listed on the Massachusetts handgun roster.
