Gun Collectors Dream Auction #66 March 2024
Lot 1824:
Introducing the CZ 75 P-07 Duty Semi-Auto Pistol chambered in .40 S&W, a discontinued model from 2018. This exceptional firearm comes with two magazines and appears in excellent preowned condition.
Initially introduced in 2009, the CZ P-07 was a trailblazer as the first handgun featuring the convertible Omega trigger system. This innovative system simplifies the CZ 75’s hammer ignition method, enabling easy full disassembly and reassembly without the need for gunsmithing tools or experience.
The standout feature of the Omega system is its convertible decocker/safety system. Users have the flexibility to carry the pistol cocked and locked, akin to a 1911, or decocked for a double-action first pull of the trigger. This versatility is achieved by a straightforward swapping of the safety for a decocking lever or vice versa, requiring only a few minutes.
In 2014, the P-07 underwent a facelift, eliminating sharp edges and incorporating forward cocking serrations and interchangeable backstraps for enhanced comfort. Additional updates included metal sights, new trigger and hammer designs, and a fiber-reinforced polymer construction, making the pistol even more adaptable to user preferences, comfortable for all-day carry, and more durable than ever.
Please note that some CZ-USA dealers may offer special versions of the P-07 with variations in sights, safety mechanisms, finish, or accessory packages. These special versions may include features like an extended barrel, tactical light, tritium sights, or safety levers only, providing a range of options to suit different preferences.
