Antique Upton Model 40 BB Rifle Mfrd 1891-1928-
The Upton Company was sold to Markham King and then to American Tools Works and finally to Daisy who, in 1916 dumped the tooling for these rifles in the Detroit River. The company was eventually acquired by the Whirlpool Corporation. Upton Model 40 is a lever action BB / .174 cal repeater. ( It will shoot standard size BB’s) Cast iron lever. Note: This is a ” reverse cocker”. In other words it cocks on the down stroke . Comes with front and rear sight. overall length is approx 35.5″
please refer to pictures when bidding this lot, Definetly shows signs of age. but appears to be a great addition to any BB gun collections.
