Used, Hand filling, Military style automatic knife, a press of the button releases and locks the heavy blade open with the modern coil spring instead of the old school leaf spring in the spine, which means no dull spot on the stupid sharp blade, another press of the button releases the lock to permit closing back into the handle, the blade remains under spring tension the entire time so no risk of a suddenly freed edge swinging into unprotected fingers.
