Up Next We Have a Nice example of a mid WWII German 98K rifle manufactured by the Mauser Werke in Oberndorf. The receiver ring is marked with the "eagle/135" acceptance proof that have been removed over "byf/ 44". the left side the receiver side wall is stamped "Mod.98" in small block letters. Barrel Marked CXM 37, It has the earlier style all milled component barrel bands & trigger guard and stamped floor plate. Nice laminated stock with steel buttplate. The barrel has the standard fixed front sight with the military tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters. It is complete with an original WWII leather sling and cleaning rod.
