The PIETTA Starr 1858 is a black-powder, double-action revolver chambered in .44. It is in very good condition. The Starr revolver was a revolutionary design well ahead of its time. Of all the reproduction percussion revolvers, the Pietta Starr is probably the most rare. Pietta only produced these revolvers for a short time, in comparison with the rest of their line, before stopping production completely more than two year ago. That’s right, these awesome Civil War-era reproduction are NO LONGER BEING PRODUCED!
