Description
A vintage-style metal flip-top lighter by TRISONS, made in Japan. Constructed from a brushed silver-tone base metal, likely chrome or nickel plated, designed in the classic Zippo-style. The front features an applied bi-metallic emblem in silver and gold tones, depicting a central eagle with outstretched wings perched above a shield with vertical stripes, flanked by two crossed anchors intertwined with decorative elements, which strongly resembles a United States Navy Officer insignia. The bottom of the lighter is clearly stamped ‘TRISONS’ and ‘JAPAN’.
Condition report:
The item exhibits visible signs of wear consistent with age and use, including numerous surface scratches, scuffs, and areas of tarnish or discoloration across the body and emblem. The hinge mechanism appears functional.
