Lot 1163:
Three Boxes of JAX 8mm Romanian Ammo Surplus
Sold for: $45
Description
This lot features three small, rectangular, utilitarian cardboard boxes of unbleached material. Two boxes bear white printed labels from “JAX” indicating “Ammo Surplus 8mm Romanian”. Handwritten markings across the boxes include “8mm”, and the number “36604”. One box is open, revealing five individual cartridges of ammunition; each cartridge consists of a green-coated metallic casing with a copper-jacketed projectile, distinguished by a visible red sealant around the bullet’s neck.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit wear, minor creasing, and handwritten annotations consistent with their age and surplus nature. The visible ammunition appears to be in good, well-preserved condition.
