Description
An original WWI US Army M1910 cartridge belt. Constructed from light tan, tightly woven canvas or webbing material, this military-style utility belt features an array of ten individual fixed pouches. Each pouch is secured with a dark, possibly bronzed, metal stud closure and reinforced with multiple metal grommets along its lower edges. The belt fastens with a dark metal buckle. No discernible manufacturer’s marks or text are visible.
Condition report:
The canvas exhibits visible signs of age and use, including overall discoloration, localized staining, and minor fraying. The metal components show patination and some areas of verdigris, consistent with vintage condition.
