Sold for: $80
Description
A group of Spanish Santa Bárbara 7.62×51 NATO ammunition, dated 1979. This lot comprises six small, rectangular cardboard boxes, two of which are open to reveal their contents, along with two loose cartridges. The boxes are primarily marked in Spanish, stating “20 CARTUCHOS” (20 CARTRIDGES) of “CAL. – 7,62 x 51” and “NATO ESPAÑOL” (SPANISH NATO). A prominent date, “Cargados en 1979” (Loaded in 1979), is visible on multiple boxes, indicating their period. One box lid displays a stylized “SB” logo featuring a sword and gear, consistent with Santa Bárbara Sistemas. A handwritten “25844” is present on another box. The revealed contents are brass-cased rifle cartridges with copper-jacketed projectiles and visible green primer sealant.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging exhibits age-related discoloration, minor staining, and wear. The cartridges themselves appear to be in generally good and clean condition.
