A 1949 Doehler Military Footlocker, constructed from wood covered in olive drab painted material, possibly canvas or fiberboard, and reinforced with riveted metal straps and hardware. The trunk features two external latches and a central locking clasp, along with a recessed carrying handle on the front. The interior reveals a single main compartment with a removable, two-compartment tray, also finished in olive drab paint.
Condition report:
Good, used condition with significant wear commensurate with age and military use. Numerous scratches, scuffs, and areas of paint loss are present on the exterior. Metal components show surface rust. The interior is worn but intact.
