Description
A Japanese Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action military rifle, consistent with early 20th-century designs. The receiver bears a partially defaced Imperial Chrysanthemum seal above the Japanese characters. The serial number “1319674” is also present on the receiver. The rifle features a full-length wooden stock and blued steel components. A “W” marking is visible on the stock near the action. A cleaning rod is present beneath the barrel.
Condition report:
Fair to good used condition. The wooden stock displays significant wear, scratches, and dents commensurate with its apparent age and military service. There is considerable bluing loss on the metal components, and minor surface oxidation is present, particularly on the butt plate. The Imperial Chrysanthemum seal is partially defaced.
