Description
A Walther P1 (P.38) 9mm semi-automatic pistol, dated 4/79. The pistol is constructed predominantly of blued metal with dark, textured plastic grip panels. The left side of the slide is clearly marked “WALTHER”, “P1 Kal. 9mm”, and “4/79”, alongside a partial serial number “S94” and various German proof marks, including an eagle over ‘N’. The left side of the frame bears additional marks, “17/1934 W 10.90 BW”. An importer’s mark, “PW ARMS REDMOND WA”, is stamped on the underside of the trigger guard. The pistol is accompanied by a single detached metal magazine, which features witness holes and is marked “12-120-9942” and “D/62”.
Condition report:
Good, used condition. The blued metal finish shows surface scratches and areas of finish loss consistent with age and use, particularly on the slide and grip frame. The dark textured plastic grip panels show minor wear. The accompanying magazine also exhibits wear and finish loss.
