A British Army 58 Pattern Water Bottle, circa 1973. This item is a dark, likely black, molded plastic canteen or field flask, characterized by its oblate spheroid body and a ribbed screw-top cap secured by an integral retaining strap. The material appears to be a durable polymer. On one side, a prominent worn patch reveals clearly embossed English text: “KEEP AWAY FROM HEAT OR FLAME”, below which an obscured date or code “1973” is partially visible.
