Description
A Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I Sporter bolt-action rifle, chambered in .303 British. The rifle is dated 1941 and features a dark blued or parkerized metal finish on its barrel and action. The light to medium brown wooden stock shows a few minor scuffs and dings, and is fitted with a brass butt plate exhibiting natural patina. British proof marks, including “BNP” and “18.5 TONS PER [square symbol],” are visible on the receiver, confirming its origin and pressure rating. A modern-style scope mounting rail is affixed to the top of the receiver.
