Description
A U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 bolt-action rifle, chambered in .30-06 caliber, serial number 3606464. The rifle features a dark stained wood stock and handguard, complemented by dark finished steel components. Visible markings include “U.S. REMINGTON MODEL 03-A3” on the receiver, “OFF” on the safety lever, and “RA” with a flaming bomb proof mark and “4-44” on the barrel, indicating an April 1944 manufacture date. It is fitted with an adjustable rear sight, a blade front sight, a tan canvas sling with black plastic hardware, and a black checkered composite butt plate with a circular trapdoor.
Condition report:
The rifle presents in good apparent condition, showing wear consistent with its age and military use. The wood stock and handguard exhibit surface scratches and finish loss. The metal components show wear to the finish.
