Lot 1565:
M14/M1A Rifle Stock
Sold for: $80
Description
An M14/M1A rifle stock crafted from dark reddish-brown wood, featuring a full-length design with an integrated buttstock and pistol grip area. The stock is fitted with metal sling swivels on both the forend and butt, and a black textured buttplate that incorporates a hinged metal trapdoor for storage. Internal metal fittings are visible within the receiver cutout and forend. The robust construction and style are consistent with military or sporting rifles, likely from the mid-20th century. No discernible text or manufacturer markings are apparent.
Condition report:
The wood surface exhibits numerous scratches, dings, and finish wear consistent with heavy use. Visible metal components show age-appropriate patina. Overall good, used condition.
