A Colt Model 1889 Navy .38 Double Action Revolver, primarily constructed from blued steel with dark wooden grip panels. The barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.” and includes patent dates “AUG 5. 1884 NOV 6. 88 MAR 5. 95”, along with “COLT. D. A. 38” indicating a .38 Double Action caliber. The cylinder crane is stamped “3311”. The butt of the grip features “USN” (United States Navy), an anchor emblem, “.38D.A.”, “No. 3153”, “P”, “W.W.K”, and the year “1889”, confirming its U.S. Navy issue and model year. This six-shot revolver features an exposed hammer.
