Description
A Mauser Model 1914 semi-automatic pistol, chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP), constructed of blued steel. The pistol features textured wooden grip panels secured by a single screw. The left side of the slide is marked “WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.-G. OBERNDORF A.N. MAUSER’S PATENT,” with a prominent “MAUSER” logo in an oval present on the frame below. The serial number “114196” is visible on both the slide and frame, and the partial number “196” is also present on the trigger housing area. A blued steel magazine with three witness holes is included.
Condition report:
The pistol exhibits significant loss of the original blued finish, numerous scratches, and areas of light surface pitting consistent with age and extensive use. The wooden grips remain intact with expected handling wear. The accompanying magazine shows similar surface wear.
