Description
This lot presents a three-piece ensemble of U.S. Army military utility gear from World War II. The rig comprises an M1936 olive green canvas webbing pistol belt, an M1916 dark reddish-brown leather holster, and a matching olive green canvas flap-closure pouch. The leather holster features an embossed “US” on its flap, a securing stud, and an attached braided leather lanyard. Its interior is visibly stamped “GRATON & KNIGHT CO.” and “1942,” identifying it as a product of Graton & Knight Co. from that year. The webbing belt is marked “U.S.” and contains numerous metal grommets. The canvas pouch secures with a metal snap closure.
Condition report:
All components exhibit wear consistent with their age and use, including scuffs and creases on the leather holster and minor fraying on its lanyard. The ensemble is in overall good, visually serviceable condition.
