Description
A U.S. Government Issue (USGI) Interceptor Outer Tactical Vest (OTV) Base Vest Outershell, designed for modular body armor systems. This example is in a three-color desert camouflage pattern (DCU) and is a size Medium (Chest 37″-41″). It features an integrated Yoke and Collar Outershell. The vest is constructed from a durable fabric, incorporating rows of PALS (MOLLE compatible) webbing on the front and back for attaching modular pouches and accessories. Adjustable side straps with black plastic buckles ensure a secure fit, and a top drag handle is present for emergency extraction. Internal labels confirm a manufacturing date of 2002 and a contract number “DAAN02-98-D-5006”. A “Q.A. INSPECTED 03” stamp is also visible, along with an inventory sticker “B41715” and black marker writing “38282S AMB”.
Condition report:
The vest appears in good, pre-owned condition. There is some creasing consistent with storage and light use, but no significant visible damage, tears, or excessive wear. All buckles and webbing appear intact.
