A collection of Civil War Era green-tinted spectacles with accompanying slip case, and a wrist-mounted compass. The spectacles feature heavily corroded metal wire frames with octagonal green-tinted glass lenses, showing significant patination. The accompanying slip case is crafted from dark brown textured leather with visible scuffing and wear, revealing an orange lining at its opening. The wrist-mounted compass has a metal body with a heavily worn dark brown leather strap and buckle. Its glass-covered dial displays English numerals indicating degrees from 0 to 360, alongside a secondary inner numerical scale from 0 to 100. The needle is visible.
Condition report:
All items display considerable age-related wear, surface corrosion on metal parts, and general signs of use.
