Description
An early 20th-century Steyr-Hahn Model 1912 semi-automatic pistol, fabricated from blued steel with checkered wooden grip panels. The right side of the slide is marked “STEYR 1917” and “K. S.”. The serial number “6510u” is visible on both the frame and slide. The left side of the frame bears a “Wn (eagle) 17” proof mark, indicating proofing in Wiener Neustadt in 1917.
Condition report:
The blued finish is significantly worn, particularly on edges and high points, exposing underlying gray metal. There are visible scratches, scuffs, and areas of minor surface corrosion and pitting throughout. The wooden grips show commensurate wear but remain intact. The trigger exhibits a contrasting lighter metal finish.
