Description
This sequential set comprises two Beretta M1 Garand pattern semi-automatic military-style rifles. Both rifles feature wooden stocks, one of a lighter shade and the other darker, complemented by dark finished metal components. The receivers areclearly marked “BERETTA-ARMI ROMA-ITALIA” (Beretta Arms Rome-Italy), with sequential serial numbers “F.K.F. N: PB 363” and “F.K.F. N: PB 364”. Additional visible markings include “MI” impressed into both buttstocks and “LEFT” on the rear adjustments. Barrel import stamps from “PARTSTRAP ORLANDO, FL” are present, specifying “M1 ITALY CAL. 30-06” for the lighter-stocked rifle and “M1 ITALY CAL. 7.62” for the darker-stocked rifle. An internal “SIAU 1967 M P” mark is visible on one of the rifles.
Condition report:
Good condition, consistent with military use and likely post-WWII refurbishment. Both rifles exhibit expected wear, surface scratches, and areas of finish loss to both metal components and wooden stocks.
