The scope features a precision mil-dot style reticle visible through the eyepiece. It is secured by two rings to an integrated mounting system, which includes a base prominently marked “Leatherwood” and bearing serial number “SN.05253”. This mounting system is affixed to a lower rail segment engraved “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY, Geneseo, Illinois”. Accompanying the scope are two separate, knurled black metal screw caps, likely for scope turrets or mounting.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The scope shows some minor surface wear and scuffs consistent with use. There is slight rust and discoloration present on some metal components, particularly the larger mounting screws. The optics appear clear, and the reticle is well-defined.
