Lot 596:
70 Rounds of 7.62mm Revolver Cartridges and 40 Empty Brass Casings for Reloading, with a Dummy Round
Sold for: $40
Description
This lot comprises five aged, light-brown paper-wrapped packages, each bearing Cyrillic text translating to “REVOLVER CARTRIDGES caliber 7.62 mm, 14 PCS.”, indicating a total of 70 cartridges. Accompanying these is a bright yellow cardboard box, marked with a target symbol and Cyrillic text translating to “GOST 5.574-70”, “BATCH № 032”, and “DATE December 1972”. An opened light cardboard box reveals approximately 40 brass-colored metallic cartridge cases or inert rounds, arranged neatly with one lying diagonally across, suitable for reloading. Completing the lot is a single, distinctively red-anodized or coated dummy cartridge, likely a snap cap.
Condition report:
The five paper-wrapped packages show signs of age and minor surface wear consistent with their vintage. The yellow cardboard box exhibits minor surface wear and some creasing. The opened light cardboard box shows minor wear. The brass casings are in good overall condition with some expected minor surface wear. The single dummy cartridge is in excellent condition with a glossy finish.
