Lot 1084:
40 Rounds Winchester .308 WIN Rifle Ammunition with Silver-Tipped Bullets
Sold for: $40
Description
A collection of 40 Winchester .308 WIN rifle cartridges. Each cartridge features a brass casing and a copper-jacketed bullet with a distinctive silver-colored tip. Headstamps clearly indicate “WINCHESTER” and “308 WIN,” identifying both the manufacturer and caliber. The cartridges are housed within two translucent bright green plastic storage cases, each designed to hold twenty rounds. These cases are consistent with MTM 20 Round Slip-Top Rifle Ammo Boxes, as identified by web research. One of the green cases bears a small orange circular sticker with the handwritten notation “R.19.”
Condition report:
The ammunition and its containers are in good overall condition, exhibiting only minor surface wear on the brass consistent with storage or light handling.
