Description
A Marlin Model 25MN bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 WMR. The rifle features a honey-toned wooden stock with diamond-pattern checkering on the grip and forend. The black metal barrel is marked “THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT, U.S.A.” and “MODEL 25MN MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL. 22 W.M.R. ONLY”. The receiver bears the serial number “98622866”. A safety lever indicates “SAFE” and “FIRE” positions. The rifle is fitted with a black synthetic buttplate embossed with the “Marlin” logo. Accompanying the rifle is a black textile sling and a detachable black metal box magazine. A black Simmons 3-9×40 riflescope is mounted, marked “SIMMONS”, “3-9X40”, and “FULLY COATED”, featuring a distinctive deer head logo on its adjustment turret and a clear duplex reticle. A pair of black synthetic scope covers are also included.
Condition report:
Very good overall condition. Minimal signs of wear consistent with light use. The bore appears clean. The scope optics are clear.
