Sold for: $110
Description
A collection of five new, unopened boxes of Hornady CUSTOM .243 WIN ammunition, totaling 100 rounds. Each light brown cardboard box contains 20 cartridges and features the prominent “Hornady AMMUNITION” logo in red, an illustration of J.W. Hornady (1906-1981), and the motto “Accurate. Deadly. Dependable.” Holographic side labels specify the “CUSTOM” product line and “.243 WIN” caliber. The rear panels display ballistic data, a UPC barcode indicating “Made in USA,” and comprehensive safety warnings, including detailed lead exposure notices and proper firearm usage guidelines, printed in both English and French. The French text primarily consists of safety advisories regarding proper firearm condition, lead exposure risks (“Risques Dus Au Plomb”), and the necessity of ventilation and hand washing after handling. An opened box reveals 20 pristine, unfired cartridges with brass casings and distinctive red-tipped projectiles, neatly arranged in a black plastic tray. Dating to a contemporary period.
