Sold for: $15
Description
A group of three opaque off-white rectangular plastic containers, each with a lid, holding numerous unjacketed lead or lead alloy projectiles. The containers, which appear to be repurposed general storage items based on visual matches in web research, are hand-marked with specifications in black ink. The left container is marked “410 gr. .45-60”. The middle container is marked “.462Ø 420gr.” and contains projectiles partially within a clear plastic bag. The right container is marked “HP .45-70 325gr.”. The projectiles themselves are dull silver-grey, displaying varied forms, including visible lubrication grooves (cannelures), with some appearing to be hollow point (HP) designs.
Condition report:
Containers exhibit general surface wear, dust, and scuffing consistent with storage and handling. Projectiles are in good, unfired condition.
