Description
A bolt-action rimfire rifle by Winchester Repeating Arms Co., Model 69, chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle ammunition. The barrel is clearly marked “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. MODEL 69 .22 SHORT PATENT PENDING. LONG AND LONG RIFLE WINCHESTER TRADE MARK”. The adjustable rear sight is marked “U.S.A. PAT. PENDING”. The rifle is constructed with a wooden stock and blued steel components. The checkered hard rubber buttplate features a central “WINCHESTER TRADE MARK” logo. An accompanying worn leather sling is present. This rifle is offered with NO MAGAZINE.
Condition report:
Fair condition. The wooden stock exhibits significant wear, including numerous scratches, dings, and areas of finish loss. The metal surfaces show extensive bluing wear, scuffs, and areas of light oxidation on the barrel, receiver, and bolt assembly. The accompanying leather sling is dry, creased, and worn but remains intact.
