A modern Mossberg Model 500 pump-action shotgun, chambered for .410 gauge 2½ and 3-inch shells, featuring an 18½-inch barrel designated as a “Home Security” model. The shotgun is constructed with a black-finished metal barrel and receiver, complemented by black synthetic furniture including a full stock with a ribbed buttpad and a distinct pistol grip forend. Visible markings on the receiver include “Mossberg® MADE IN U.S.A. / NORTH HAVEN, CONN. / 500© 410 GA.”, along with the serial number “U189063”.
