Description
A Winchester Model 12 pump action shotgun, 16 gauge, with a 2 ¾ inch chamber and Improved Cylinder choke. Crafted from blued steel and walnut wood, the barrel is clearly marked “WINCHESTER – MODEL 12 – 16 GA – 2 ¾ CHAM – TRADEMARK – WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL – MADE IN U.S.A. – IMP-CYL”. A “W” in a circle proof mark and an arrow symbol are present. The serial number “1612074” is visible on both the receiver and barrel. The buttstock and fore-end feature checkered panels, and the butt is fitted with a brown rubber buttplate embossed “Pachmayr GUN WORKS”.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces exhibit general wear, scratches, and bluing loss, particularly noticeable on the receiver. Minor rust or patina is visible inside the ejection port. The wooden components retain a glossy finish with some handling marks and minor impressions, presenting in good overall condition consistent with its age and use.
