Lot 1567:
98 Rounds Mixed .30-06 Springfield Ammunition with Federal, Winchester-Western, and Remington Boxes
Sold for: $90
Description
This lot features 98 mixed rounds of .30-06 Springfield ammunition, consistent with examples by Federal and Winchester-Western Super-X found in market research. The lot comprises three brand-specific cardboard boxes designed for empty center fire rifle cartridge cases, from Winchester/Western, Federal, and Remington. These boxes are primarily red, green, and white, clearly marked with “20 EMPTY CENTER FIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGE CASES” or “Empty Center Fire Cases” and “WARNING: Keep Out of Reach of Children”. Alongside these, a quantity of loaded center fire rifle cartridges is presented both loosely and within red plastic and brown cardboard trays. The loaded cartridges feature brass cases with copper-jacketed bullets. Visible headstamps on many read “W-W SUPER .30-06 SPRG”, confirming the .30-06 Springfield caliber.
Condition report:
All items appear in good to very good condition, with minor shelf wear and light creasing on the cardboard boxes and some expected light tarnish on the brass cartridge cases.
