Lot 242:
Approximately Forty Assorted Vintage and Modern Folding Pocket Knives, including Schrade, with One Gerber Multiplier Pro-XL Multi-Tool
Sold for: $130
Description
A collection of approximately forty assorted vintage and modern folding pocket knives, alongside one Gerber Multiplier Pro-XL multi-tool housed in a black textile pouch. The knives present a variety of traditional patterns such as Trapper, Stockman, Barlow, and a Swiss Army Knife style. They feature both single and multiple blades, often incorporating additional tools like corkscrews and bottle openers. Handle materials predominantly consist of jigged and smooth bone (in cream, brown, and various variegated tones), diverse wood types, and synthetic composites (including red, black, yellow, green mottled, and pearlescent cream), accented with nickel silver and brass bolsters and liners. Visible markings include “Made in U.S.A.” on several blades, “SCHRADE-WALDEN NY USA” on one knife, and the characteristic white cross emblem on the red Swiss-style knife, with “Gerber Multiplier Pro-XL” legible on the multi-tool.
Condition report:
The overall condition is varied, ranging from fair to good. Most items exhibit clear signs of previous use and age-related wear, including scratches, pitting on blades, patina on metal components, and some discoloration or minor damage to handle scales. The Gerber multi-tool appears in relatively good condition.
