Description
A Winchester Model 1200 pump-action shotgun, constructed with a blued steel barrel, receiver, and magazine tube. The firearm features a light-colored wooden stock and fore-end, both with checkered grip panels. Markings on the barrel identify it as “WINCHESTER® MODEL 1200 – 12 GA. 2 3/4″ & 3″”, manufactured in “NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.” from “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL” and equipped with a “WINCHOKE®”. The receiver bears a “WP” proof mark and “18,5 mm” (18.5 millimeters) next to an unclear symbol. The underside of the receiver is marked “L1232443”, “12 GA.”, and “MAGNUM”. The buttpad is a black, textured recoil pad embossed with “WINCHESTER RECOIL PAD NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.”.
Condition report:
The item presents in used condition. There are significant surface scratches and wear to the blued finish across the barrel and receiver. Handling marks are visible on the wooden stock and fore-end. Visible rust and corrosion are present within the ejection port.
