Description
A Remington Model 870 Express Magnum pump-action shotgun, 12 gauge, featuring a dark metal finish on the receiver and barrel. The receiver is marked “Remington 870 EXPRESS MAGNUM” and bears the serial number “A402215V.” The shotgun is fitted with a light-colored wooden stock and forend, both exhibiting checkered grip areas. A “Remington Supercell” recoil pad, marked with U.S. patent number 6,905,113, is present on the buttstock. The primary barrel is marked “12 GA. – 18 1/2 IN. CYLINDER BORE” and includes shell warnings: “USE 2 3/4 OR 3″ SHELLS IN MAGNUM RECEIVERS” and “USE ONLY 2 3/4″ IN ALL OTHERS.” Accompanying the firearm is a secondary replacement barrel, manufactured by Mossberg & Sons Inc. of North Haven, CT, U.S.A., specifically for the Remington Arms Co. Model 870, 12 Gauge. This secondary barrel features a fiber optic front sight, a ported muzzle, and shell warnings consistent with the primary barrel. The set includes a brown fabric sling with a camouflage shoulder pad and is presented in a black soft gun case.
