Description
A utilitarian single-shot break-action shotgun, identified as a Harrington & Richardson Topper Model 48. The firearm is constructed from blued steel with a plain wooden stock and forend. Markings on the left side of the receiver read “TOPPER MODEL 48” and “HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON, INC.”. The barrel is stamped “20 GAUGE – P” and “FULL CHOKE”, indicating its caliber and choke. An alphanumeric marking “J.10232” is present on the underside of the forend. The buttplate features an “H&R ARMS CO.” logo and is made of black hard rubber or plastic.
Condition report:
Good, used condition. The firearm exhibits typical operational wear consistent with age and use. This includes minor finish thinning and surface scratches on the metal components. The wood furniture shows some small dings and general wear marks.
