Lot 536:
Vintage Kennedy Fishing Tackle Box
Sold for: $25
Description
A Vintage Kennedy Fishing Tackle Box, constructed from dark brown, textured metal. It features rounded corners on its lid and a recessed well around a dark brown plastic carrying handle. The lid is visibly marked with a white, handwritten-style ‘Kennedy’ inscription. Two metal hinged latches secure the front drawers. Internally, it contains two pull-out drawers equipped with green plastic compartmentalized trays, currently holding a variety of fishing tackle including lures, weights, and hooks, with some items still in period packaging visible with English text such as “Siberian Night” and “Rainbow Double Barb Hackled Hooks.”
Condition report:
Good vintage condition, consistent with age and heavy use. The exterior exhibits extensive surface scuffs, scratches, and areas of paint loss. Dirt and grime are visible across the surface. The interior shows wear from tackle storage. All components appear to be present and functional, though the metal latches show signs of wear.
