Description
A Mossberg 500A pump-action shotgun, chambered for 12 gauge, capable of firing 2¾ and 3-inch shells. The shotgun features a 28-inch modified choke, a blued steel barrel, a metallic silver-toned magazine tube, and a black synthetic stock and ribbed fore-end. The receiver is prominently marked “Mossberg”, “MADE IN U.S.A.”, “NORTH HAVEN, CONN.”, and “500A 12 GA”. The serial number “K009039” is present on the receiver.
Condition report:
The receiver, appearing to be an alloy, exhibits significant wear and finish loss, revealing a lighter metallic surface with numerous scratches and abrasions. The blued steel barrel shows general surface wear and scuffs consistent with use. The black synthetic stock and ribbed fore-end also show general surface wear and scuffs. Overall condition is consistent with heavy use.
