Description
A Smith & Wesson Model 36 .38 S&W Special double-action revolver. This blued steel revolver features a short barrel and black synthetic checkered grips. Visible markings include “SMITH & WESSON” and “38 S. & W. SPL.” on the barrel. The left side of the frame bears the Smith & Wesson “TRADE MARK” logo, with “MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.” etched below. The crane is stamped “MOD. 36”, “12774”, and “C 10”. A hand-etched “H47876CA” is present on the frame above the grip.
Condition report:
Good to very good overall condition. The blued finish retains a strong appearance with minor surface wear and handling marks consistent with age and use. The black synthetic checkered grips are intact with light wear. Mechanically appears sound.
