A Group of 69 Rounds of Mixed Ammunition, including Federal and Winchester .30-30, and .38 Special Cartridges
Sold for: $55
Description
This lot comprises 69 rounds of mixed ammunition, featuring both rifle and pistol cartridges in various packaging. Included is a clear plastic-fronted cardboard box of Federal .30-30 caliber, 170-grain Soft Point rifle cartridges, visibly containing 10 rounds in seemingly unused condition. A stack of red plastic trays holds a group of 30 brass-cased rifle cartridges, primarily marked ’30-30 WCF’ or ’30-30 WIN’ with mixed Winchester and Federal headstamps, exhibiting good overall condition with some light tarnishing. A distressed cardboard box from Winchester Super-X, originally specifying ’20 Centerfire Rifle Cartridges’ and carrying a ‘WARNING: Keep out of reach of children,’ shows considerable wear and creasing, and contains approximately 12 additional rifle cartridges. Completing the lot is a brown plastic utility ammunition case, designed for various calibers including ‘.223, .38 SPL, .357 MAG, .45 ACP,’ containing sixteen .38 Special pistol cartridges from multiple manufacturers (e.g., W-W, REM-UMC) in good condition. The case lid provides loading instructions such as ‘TO REMOVE PRESS BULLET SIDE DOWN’ and ‘TO INSERT PRESS BULLET SIDE UP.’ One additional loose rifle cartridge is also included.
Condition report:
The Federal .30-30 cartridges appear in unused condition within their original packaging. The brass-cased rifle cartridges in the red trays and the .38 Special pistol cartridges are in good overall condition with some light tarnishing to the brass. The Winchester Super-X cardboard box shows considerable wear, creasing, and distress. The clear plastic-fronted Federal box and the brown plastic utility case are in good condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
