This is a Lee Precision 3-die set, likely a Pacesetter or similar model, designed for reloading the .223 Remington cartridge. The set includes three steel reloading dies: a full-length sizing die, a bullet seating die, and a third die (configuration typical of Lee’s standard three-die sets). The dies feature bright metal lock rings and knurled fittings. The center die is clearly marked LEE-223, identifying the manufacturer and caliber. The set is housed in a standard utilized red plastic Lee storage box with a translucent lid. The box and lid are marked with handwritten black marker notations reading .223, confirming the intended caliber. A small red plastic shell holder accessory is included in one of the spare cavities.
Condition report:
The overall condition is very good, consistent with light field use and handling. The blued finish on the receiver and barrel retains high coverage, showing only minor surface scratches and faint wear marks, particularly near the loading port and the slide action area. The bore appears bright and smooth. The synthetic buttstock and forend are structurally sound with no major cracks or chips, exhibiting minor scuffing typical of polymer furniture. A visible sticker with a price marking ($8.00) is affixed to the rubber recoil pad. The pump action appears to function correctly, cycling smoothly.
