Lot 1103:
A Pair of AK-47/AKM 7.62x39mm 30-Round Detachable Box Magazines (ProMag Polymer and Stamped Steel)
Sold for: $35
Description
This lot consists of a pair of detachable box magazines designed for the AK-47/AKM platform, chambered for the 7.62x39mm cartridge. The lot includes two (2) magazines: one black polymer magazine and one stamped steel magazine. The polymer magazine is identified via visible markings and web consensus as a ProMag AK-A1 30-round capacity magazine, featuring a distinctive waffle-grid texture. The marking PRO MAG is visible near the floorplate. An inventory sticker bearing the number 31915 is affixed to the base of the polymer magazine. The second magazine is of traditional stamped steel construction, featuring prominent vertical reinforcement ribs consistent with standard military-issue AK magazines, likely of 30-round capacity. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding high-capacity magazines.
Condition report:
The overall condition of the ammunition is fair to poor due to prolonged poor storage. The brass casings are heavily tarnished, dirty, and show significant patina and discoloration across the surface. The two plastic zipper bags containing the bulk of the ammunition are dirty and appear to have compromised seals, contributing to the condition issues. The exposed lead projectiles show minor surface oxidation. The ammunition appears to be live, loaded centerfire rounds. Due to the unknown age, storage conditions, and potential for corrosive primers or powder degradation, this ammunition is sold strictly as a collector\'s lot or for components (brass/bullets) only. We have not tested the functionality or safety of this ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms and ammunition laws.
