Condition report:
The overall condition of the knife is poor to fair due to significant corrosion. The steel blade exhibits widespread surface rust, deep pitting, and heavy discoloration across both sides, particularly in the main body of the blade. The polished metal finger guard shows minor scratching but remains bright. The laminated wood grip scales are intact with minor handling wear. The accompanying leather sheath shows moderate wear consistent with age, but the stitching and retention snap remain functional. We have not function-tested this knife for edge retention or sharpness.
